甚麼是ASQ?
ASQ(Ages & Stages Questionnaires®/ 年齡及階段成長發展評估)，針對6個月至66個月兒童的測評工具，用監測兒童於重點發展區域（Key Development Area）的不同表現，包括學習認知，溝通，社交能力及大小肌肉等不同範疇。

ASQ的由來
Jane Squires博士（Ph.D.）及美國俄勒岡大學（University　of　Oregon）人類發育中心（Center　on　Human　Development）、早期幹預研究所，根據1—66個月的嬰幼兒最佳發育狀態和社會情感發展，研發了1—66個月兒童的發育篩查量表系列，即ASQ系統。

ASQ有代表性嗎？
ASQ系統經由大量數據統計，系統性地分辦兒童的成長進度。得到美國兒科學會的推薦，在美國廣泛應用於0—5歲兒童發育評估。
ASQ於1979年開始成型，1995年正式應用(ASQ-1)，現時普遍應用為ASQ-3。
